AutoCAD Draftsman Job Description

Overview of Company

At Origen, our vision is the atmosphere, restored. We aim to be the global leader in carbon dioxide removal solutions.

To achieve this, we have developed technology to decarbonise the global lime industry, which can be modified to enable at scale carbon removal. In addition to avoiding 400 million tonnes of CO2 from the lime industry, we will be able to remove billions of tonnes of carbon dioxide from the air.

We have recently closed a significant seed funding round from several prominent family offices, have won two large government grants focused on decarbonisation and carbon removal, and have an exciting pipeline of projects in front of us.

Our flagship project is the build and operation of a pilot plant. In partnership with Singleton Birch, the UK’s leading independent lime manufacturer, the plant will demonstrate Origen’s core technology, the production of zero-carbon lime. This can then be scaled for commercial application.

The second project, working with Tate & Lyle Sugars, involves an engineering study for the complete decarbonisation of a sugar refinery. This will pave the way for the possibility of carbon-negative sugar production.

Origen will be scaling rapidly and growing the team through 2021 and we are always looking for the best talent.
